Uber hardware engineer Brian Zajac said in an interview that their autopilot car also requires two operators, a staff member responsible for preparing to take over the vehicle, and the other is responsible for looking at the map. Zajac also mentioned that the third-generation driverless cars will be closer to the state of the driverless and will achieve the vision of driving without a driver.

The model that was tested in Arizona this year as it did in California last year was the Volvo XC90. After California Motor Vehicles stopped their tests last year, Uber has been seeking to test elsewhere. The main reason for the suspension was that Uber did not purchase a $ 150 license. DMV also revoked the registration of 16 Uber driverless cars.
