The New iPhone Menu Makes It Easier To Manage iCloud

Apple has made it easier to manage the iCloud account from an iPhone in the latest software update for iPhone and iPad, iOS 10.3. Apple has taken different important settings such as passwords, account security, credit cards, and photo and has kept them a single, easily accessible menu at the top of the Settings app.

None of these options are new, but they were spread apart before. but they were scattered around the iPhone’s settings. Check the new menu out to ensure that your iCloud account is working properly and properly locked down.

Though it might not look like a button, you can tap on it and get to the menu

The items ‘Name, Phone Numbers, Email’ contains your basic iCloud information. It also includes where Apple may contact you. If you do not wish to get any promotional emails from Apple, you can turn them off. ‘Password & Security’ allows you to turn on two-factor authentication. If security concerns you, it is a good idea to turn it on. ‘Payment & Shipping’ lets you change the credit card Apple has in store.  The button after those three options, iCloud, allows you to turn off which applications are using iCloud storage, and also lets you quickly the storage space that is left.iCloud iPhone

‘iTunes & App Store’ lets you turn off automatic downloads. You can find a list of Apple products that are linked to your Apple ID.
