As if the backlash because of forced removal of a passenger from a flight for United Airlines was not enough, a passenger has complained about a scorpion stinging him!
Scorpion On A United Airlines Flight!
A man has told how a scorpion fell on him and stung him during a lunch on a business class flight on United Airlines flight. Richard Bell was going from Houston, Texas, to Calgary in Canada when he felt something drop on him (on his head, to be exact). He grabbed it and soon realized what it was. His neighbor told him that it was a scorpion and that scorpions are very dangerous. The man dropped the scorpion on his tray and then tried to pick it up again. That is when the scorpion stung him. The scorpion stung him on his thumb, next to his nail. Ouch. Mr Bell told that the creature’s surprise entry excited the passengers and the crew. He covered the scorpion with a cup so it wouldn’t go out. But he got out so they had to hit him with a shoe. Cabin crew flushed the remains of scorpion down the toilet. Mr Bell told that the staff responded well to the incident and called doctors to make sure he was ok and not in danger. Emergency workers examined him when the plane landed, and he was said to be in no danger. The border security also checked the plane. Mr Bell has also been given credit for another flight.
