Samsung is releasing it’s another flagship tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.
The release is expected to happen in September but the day is yet uncertain. Rumors are that Samsung Galaxy tablet release might cause the downfall of Apple tablets but it’s just too soon to speculate if you ask me. The highlighting features of Samsung galaxy tab S3 include a lighter body as compared to tab S2, improved touchWiz software and a 4:3 ratio display.
Not neglecting the drawbacks of the previous S2 tab, the battery life wasn’t that impressive but despite that, it was a pretty remarkable release Samsung and one of the best rated tablets of the past year and if Samsung aims to debut the new one with even minute improvements, there is going to be some tough competition no doubt about that.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Release Date:
The previous tablet S2 was said to be released at July 2015 but didn’t come out till September. Although the Samsung website has declared in its official listing suggesting that it would be coming out this September and Tech journalist, “Eldar Murtazin” also tweeted that it might come out on September 1 which will be at IFA 2016 (where Samsung is planning their press conference), along with the Gear 3 release which makes it twice as more exciting and a more awaited event.
Specifications and Rumors of tab S3:
Not much has been said about the features of the tablet yet except that “similar qualities to its predecessor along with some innovations” and Samsung also claims that the successor tablet will have a better processor and a faster and updated operating system, but leaked pictures give us some insight on the design of the tablet. It looks quite a lot like the same as tab S2 which is not bad because the design specs of S2 were a big hit, it has the same plastic back cover, 4:3 display home button at the bottom of the screen.
It is also rumored that like its predecessor the S3 tab will also come in two sizes that are 8 inches and 9.7 inches. Another rumor suggests that it’ll contain a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 4,000mAh battery. Leaked sources also report that the tablet has a multi-core score of 4,275 that is lower than that on Galaxy S7 but still praise worthy. Leaked sources also tell us that the camera specifications of the tablet are as; 8MP for the back and 2 MP for the front camera.
Pricing Specifications:
The price of the tablet are expected to go down as the Galaxy Tab S2 cost US$399, £319, AU$499 for a smaller storage capacity and an 8 inches display version of the tablet and was US$499, £399, AU$599 for the 32GB 9.7-inch version of the tablet. But we expect a little smaller price for the new release.
