Samsung Galaxy 9 Might Be Announced Sooner Than Expected

Nov 15, 2017 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Just like every year, the upcoming Galaxy 9 is the talk of the town. Samsung wants to introduce its next flagship smartphone earlier than before. After the device was hinted at ahead of the Mobile World Congress, there is now more talk about launching it a few days before the start of the world’s largest mobile phone trade fair.

Samsung Galaxy 9

The source of the rumor about a slightly premature presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S9 is, as in previous years, the Italian Twitter user @Ricciolo1. Yesterday he announced that one could count on an earlier presentation of the Galaxy S9 because Samsung had plans for it.

In addition, he hinted that Samsung will probably finally put on the flagship a dual-camera unit. As the world’s largest electronics manufacturer, they had introduced Galaxy Note 8 in the fall. In addition, the new model is, of course, a performance boost, if only because it comes with the Snapdragon 845 and the recently announced Samsung’s own Exynos 9810. The new SoC won’t be available until February 2018.

In addition, the source claims to have heard from his contacts that the Galaxy S9 should be able to handle “new tricks,” such as those found on the iPhone X. This probably refers to capturing the user’s face with the help of an infrared laser-based system, such as Apple’s Face ID. Corresponding rumors have been made earlier, and it remains to be seen whether the speculations will prove to be true.

Also last year, it was initially said that Samsung would introduce its new flagship smartphone earlier than before. Ultimately, the launch was only one day before the official start of the Mobile World Congress. Presumably, the Korean manufacturer will adhere to the now-proven concept of a stretched display, but again use an improved version of its now well-developed SuperAMOLED panels. So most of the changes this year are likely to affect other components – and hopefully, the language assistant Bixby still criticized for its limited use.
