So far, it seemed on the whole that the South Korean electric company Samsung had the problems with the batteries in the Galaxy Note smartphones under control. But then, in the past week, there were a series of messages from users of the new Note 8, in which the device, after the battery had once completely discharged, did not turn on again. The devices became unusable according to the user reports. Normally there should be no problems when a fully discharged smartphone when it is reconnected to the power. The reports showed a different picture.

Some users speculated that the battery issue was related to one of the latest Android updates , or the season, as the reports came from regions where temperatures have dropped significantly. Apple once had a similar problem in iOS battery management, where iPhones shut down in the cold and could not be switched on without power, no matter how full the battery was.
