The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is built with two Gorilla Glass 5 glass faces, two plastic sides and the upper and lower ends of aluminum with a milling on the edge. The display is fabulous. It is an IPS HDR LCD panel with 4K resolution, which is both technically and effectively the best LCD on the market at present. It is very beautiful to see, bright and well visible in the sunlight. It loses a bit in the depths of blacks but overall quality is really amazing. About 4K (the density has a record value above 800 ppi) you should know that it is not normally exploited in the system interface but only activates in proprietary media apps or while viewing videos that support the resolution. There is a multimedia subframe entrusted to two front stereo speakers with good quality but the volume is not that impressive. The sound quality is good but during times of need, you might miss the bell.

The camera with which the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is equipped is the true ace up the sleeve: this is a 19 mega pixel Sony IMX400 sensor, with 5-axis stabilized F / 2.0 optics, color spectrum sensor, laser focus, single flash LEDs, but above all it has the impressive ability to produce slow motion video clips at 960 fps. The front camera has 13 megapixels and autofocus. The photos are fine. You can get detailed photos during day and night both and most of the shots are definitely convincing under each parameter. The videos are great, 5-axis optical zoom in FullHD at 60 fps is a not-for-all plus for those who like to shoot video clips with the smartphone.

The 3230 mAh battery allows you to get adequate autonomy, you can get to the end of the day without too much trouble with at least 20% of residual charge on the most stressful days. If you use the phone normally, you can reach 5h of lit display on a day and a half of use, which may vary slightly depending on your style of use.
