The interest in the OnePlus 5T is huge. Because at the Berlin pop-up store (as part of a sneaker shop) in Schönhauser Allee, a journalist was able to watch and film a queue about 100 meters long. Many OnePlus fans have done well enough to personally pick up a 5T.

The Chinese manufacturer has also announced via Twitter that the launch of the OnePlus 5T is a record for the launch day. Within just six hours, it has been broken, writes the company on Twitter, it is the fastest selling device so far.

Some media have equated the tweet of OnePlus with “sold out”, but that is probably not the case. According to the website, both versions (with 64 and 128 GB of internal memory) are ready to ship within six days. In the early days of the company, waiting times of several weeks were not uncommon.

The previous model also ends with the OnePlus 5T. Because as in the transition between OnePlus 3 and 3T, the previous smartphone is abandoned. This means that the OnePlus 5 is no longer available immediately. On the manufacturer’s side, you can still find it, but it can not be put in the cart anymore. Who wants to have the predecessor cheaper, has to make on eBay and Co. on the search, but you should probably better resort to 5T, since this does not cost much more, but it is clearly better.
