According to Nvidia, the GeForce MX110 is capable of being combined with DDR3 or GDDR5 memory. Optimus and GPU boost is also supported by the DirectX12 and OpenGL 4.5 enabled chip. Allegedly, the performance should be about 50 percent higher than, for example, Intel’s Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics solution directly installed in its CPUs.

With the GeForce MX130, Nvidia promises the manufacturer compared to the Intel GPU by approximately 150 percent higher achievement, whereby the two new GPUs in each case over PCI Express 3.0 are attached. As with the MX150, these are probably just old-fashioned older GPUs, as the two new chips are very similar to the March 2016 GeForce 920MX and GeForce 940MX. In both cases, the older “Maxwell” architecture is still used.

Nvidia does not give concrete details so far, however, based on the data of the older chips, it indicates, however, at which level one should move here. The chips have the GeForce 920MX 256 CUDA cores and worked with maixmal 926 megahertz. The 940MX had 384 CUDA cores and a maximum clock speed of 1176 MHz. The power loss was 16 and 23 watts, respectively.The memory support was identical as well.

It will not be long before the first devices with the new chips come on the market. The device should be available from the beginning of December for the price of almost 650 euros.
