Nokia 3 is the basic version of the three models with which the brand has entered the Android phone market later than earlier, but better than ever.
Nokia 3
Like any other fan of the Nokia name, I have to start the article in a cliché way and remember the Nokia phones that I clicked in my childhood. Indeed, we had some of these phones, even if we had a Motorola or a Sagem for a while. Until the first smartphone, Nokia was the brand I was tied to, but I broke up pretty quickly, with some misgivings.

Nokia lost not just a train but more, while it chose to go to Microsoft’s hand over Android. These phones were praised by some, a minority too small for such a big business, so they were eventually drawn to a dead line. And the brand’s ash has reborn Nokia under the aegis of HMD Global.Nokia 3 is the basic specification of the new models on the market, 3, 5 and 6. I’m curious what the reasoning about the numbers is, but that’s not what we are talking about now.

Nokia 3 comes as a phone that wants to do its job and does not want to impress you. When it comes to design, it’s pretty simple, maybe a bit too simple sometimes. The phone is nice to hold, though the back of your mouse has a tendency to make your smartphone fly in the hand for the first time. You get used to it quickly and you will enjoy the fact that the phone is not a fingerprint magnet , as it happens with many newly launched, very glossy and very dirty devices.

In terms of specifications, things are pretty simple: Nokia 3 is based on a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, the Mediatek NT6737, to which we add 2GB of RAM. The IPS LCD screen has a diagonal 5 inches and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, while the main camera phone has an 8MP sensor and shoots at 720p. And the secondary camera also has an 8MP sensor. The battery has a capacity of 2630mAh.

The smartphone comes with the Android 7.0 Nougat package, which is great for a budget phone.Probably the most pleasant impression my smartphone made after the initial setup was to find out that it does not come with a bloatware package or a special interface for the operating system . If you’re looking for a phone that does not piss you off with 20 unnecessary apps, of which 15 can not uninstall, then you’re on the right track. Bonus: By the end of August, the handset will benefit from an upgrade to 7.1.1 , so it gets up to date with upgrades.

I did not head to serious multitasking because I knew it was not in the construction of the phone to do this, but I preferred to work with SwiftKey instead of the standard keyboard. Any standard keyboard that comes with a phone seems terrible and I quickly turn to this solution. With Nokia 3, however, I suffered little of a syndrome that can sometimes make you want to get rid of the phone. In Messenger, you’re starting to write and finish now, but the phone still takes a second to catch you up. If the application lag is generally lacking, with SwiftKey at least it feels.

The main room is good in natural light conditions, but it’s not something you’d like to use in the evening or under artificial light conditions. Unfortunately, the phone does not know how to shoot at 1080p, although this should become a standard for the industry. About the secondary camera I do not have much to talk about: Although it has an 8MP sensor, it behaves more like a 2 megapixel camera.

The screen, on the other hand, does not disappoint. I had some reticence about it when I saw it having the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, but this time it was not a problem that I did not have a Full HD resolution. The battery does not disappoint, it does not leave you hard in the middle of the day, and if you do not use your phone at full capacity, you have a good chance of using it the next day until you load it.

Nokia 3 is not going to impress you with any special feature or design out of the ordinary. In this chapter, the phone is quite simple, but that’s not a bad thing. In addition to all phones that exceed price records, Nokia 3 addresses those who want to rejoice the name they have loved for years but who would not want to spend a fortune on a new smartphone. As much as you give, you get it, and that’s not a negative statement in any way, but on the contrary.
