It will not be a first of its kind mobile phone. Earlier Xiaomi has also developed something similar to this. The shinning back Xiaomi phone had been a big hit and thus Huawei are the first ones to follow in the suit. The shinning back case is available in two colors, shinning black and shinning silver.
So although not entirely new but this feature is not very common in mainstream flagship phone and would be able to make the Huawei Nova Plus stand out among the other mobile phones.
