The tablet has Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 CPU, with Adreno 505 GPU and 3 GB of RAM.  The internal; memory is 32 GB (24 of which is available to the user) expandable via micro SD. The tablet has dual band WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and LTE Cat. 4 (only in LTE version). Sensors include accelerometer, gyroscope, brightness, and compass.

A lot of people use their tablets to make calls. You can count on this tablet to do that without any problem. That is not to say that the tablet has an exceptional reception or stands out in this regard in any way. You will face no problems with LTE data exchange, WiFi or Bluetooth. So, it is safe to say, that there are no connectivity problems here. Even the GPS is really good. It is fast and accurate, even it is on an unplanned object.

You cannot expect a lot from Snapdragon 435. The Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite confirms this as it is not particularly fast in day-to-day operations. This does not mean that the performance is poor. The experience is more than satisfactory. It is a good idea to not use it very intensely. Be smooth, and it will run smoothly! Even you go like this, it will behave most of the times, and even your gaming experience won’t suffer.

The size of the tablet is 241.3 x 171.5 and its thickness is only 7.1 mm. It weighs 341 grams. It is bulky for a 10.1-inch tablet for sure. It is bulkier than most of its counterparts. The over-sized frames give you a good grip. The frame has been made from aluminum and the back is made of plastic. The design quality of Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite is good the assembly is impeccable.

The display is of IPS LCD type and is brightly lit. The colors are well-calibrated and are enhanced by a powerful backlight. The new HD resolution is also good, but if you take into consideration the diagonal of the surface, it could have been better! The multimedia and audio section is also really good. In fact, it is one of the highlights of the tablet. The tablet has four powerful speakers, which can work in unison for recreating a powerful stereo effect no matter what the orientation of the tablet is! The sound is full and powerful, present on both highs and bass.

The tablet has two 8-megapixel front and rear cameras which are good for video calls and occasional pictures but do not give you a high picture quality. If you love taking pictures, Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite is not the tablet for you.

The autonomy of Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite is good because of its 6600 mAh battery. It lasts for 9 hours if used continuously. With moderate use, the battery will last you around 3 days. Isn’t that great?

Huawei has added a slightly modified version of the EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The graphics are matched well to the size of the display. This is not something you see on most Android tablets. If you keep the minimum width higher than the developer setting, you can get a zoom out effect on all the system elements so you can see more information. You will find all common EMUI applications preinstalled which will guarantee full use. The multimedia music, apps, and videos have been done well and are functional. You might see some advanced features and settings which show that the software of the product is good.

Not all of us like using tablets, but some can’t live without it. It all depends on your habits. Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite is a pretty decent tablet. The software, audio, user experience, and battery are all pretty great. Display, hardware, ergonomics, and quality is not bad either. The camera is the only thing that could have been better. The tablet is available for 376 USD (WiFi) and 447 USD (WiFi & LTE). Although there are some more affordable alternatives in the market, this one is really balanced and complete.
