In the fault investigation report, Google pointed out that Pixel 2 XL mobile phone screen burn-in probability is at the same level as other high-end mobile phones. Therefore, the emergence of this problem does not impact the phone usability in any way. Prior to this incident, the phone warranty time was one year. Due to this problem, Google has decided to extend Pixel 2 XL warranty time to two years.
