Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus was spotted for the first time today on Geekbench. The benchmarks had been discovered by Jasper van Wezel and reported on his blog, but the results of the S9 Plus disappeared from the Geekbench site shortly thereafter. But what became known stirs attention, because the new processor in the S9 Plus is very high performance: It uses a new Exynos processor called 9810, which according to the new benchmarks got 3775 points on the single-core mode and 9024 points on the multi-core mode.

The chip in the S9 Plus (SM-G965F) scores 3773 points for single-core and 9024 points for multi-core. For comparison, the Galaxy S8 Plus is at 2159 and 7235 points. But the results also mean that the S9 series is still performing worse than the Apple iPhone 8 models released last fall. Samsung plans to open pre-orders this Sunday, February 25, 2018, the day after the official launch of the devices. Delivery of the new models will take place from 8 March 2018.
