Galaxy S9 Leaks
In terms of design, the two new Samsung flagships are not making too much of a change, and the exterior is quite reminiscent of last year’s models. Blass writes that these are mainly component upgrades, as are the 5.8-inch Galaxy S9 and the 6.2-size Galaxy S9 Plus.

The two S9 models with the codenames Star and Star 2, which are actually only officially presented to the MWC, will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 installed in the USA and China, the rest of the world gets the in-house Exynos 9810. This applies to both models. There is a difference in the memory configurations: The Galaxy S9 Plus will offer 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, whereas the Galaxy S9 has “only” 4 GB / 64 GB. Blass says Samsung is making it harder for customers to opt for the small S9 without sacrificing.

Blass confirms already known information about the cameras: Both versions have a 12MP main camera with variable aperture. The mechanical adjustment of the aperture changes between f / 2.4 and f / 1.5, the latter being the smallest value in this device class. The Plus model comes with a second rear 12 MP module, but this has a fixed aperture. In the front, there are each 8 MP units, in addition to below stereo speakers, added. Also worth mentioning is that the fingerprint sensor is now under the camera and not next to it. The latter has caused displeasure to some.
