Step 1: Backup your profile data
Facebook gave you option through which you can keep a backup of your post, photos and videos. So, go to your Facebook settings by clicking on upper right corner then click on general. Here you can see option of “Download a copy of your Facebook data”.

Now click on “security”. Here you can see “deactivate your account” option. Click on it. You’ll be asked to provide Facebook reasons that why you are leaving etc. Facebook will try its best to change your mind but you’ve to stay motivated to deactivate your account permanently 🙂 Don’t worry !! You can get back to your Facebook account within 14 days.
