Apple has designed a pizza box with a number of different sizes of ventilation holes, mainly for the internal hot air and moisture discharge , to prevent the pizza from getting soggy, which affects the crisp taste.

Apple has a new campus which will be opening soon. One of the coolest features of the campus is a special type of pizza box which will be available at the employee cafeteria. The design of the container is so unique that Apple actually filed for a patent in 2010. The circular design has “a series of holes that have been drilled into the lid of the box, allowing steamy air to escape and give the eater ease of mind that their pizza crust will not be soggy.” You can also store the pizza boxes in a stack so that storage space is minimized. The pizza box is made of environmentally friendly material. The patent document has provided further details of the recyclable material: the box has buckles to cover it securely and to protect the pizza during transportation. The pizza box is not commercially available. It will only be supplied to Apple’s main food supplier – Francesco Longoni company, to facilitate employees in the cafeteria.

So now, even if you are the owner of a pizza place who doessn’t use Apple products, you might be able to enjoy this Apple product in the future.
